How to get there
The only bus that serves the reserve is the Number 84 to Newcastle. This bus leaves Corn Exchange Place in central Dublin, serving Bray and Greystones on the way. It is best to look at the latest timetable or phone 01 87342222. Alight in Newcastle, near the Castle Inn, the bus terminates here and turns back to Dublin. Take the road opposite the bus stop, signposted to the beach. The reserve is a mile down the sea road, on the south side of the road adjacent to the coast.
When travelling by car, the easiest way is to leave the N11 at the Kilcoole/Greystones turning and follow the signs to Kilcoole (be aware that the newly opened turning to Kilcoole/Greystones may not be shown), it is just to the south of the R762 turning to Delgany. Drive through Kilcoole and onto Newcastle. Turn left after the Castle Inn and bridge and follow the road down to the coast. Parking is available at the end of the road.
