Saturday 9 June: Joint outing with the Limerick Branch to Loop Head to see nesting seabirds such as Guillemot, Razorbill, Kittiwake, Fulmar, etc. Chough should also be in the area. Meet at the Lighthouse car park, Loop Head, at 11.00am. Leader: John N Murphy.
Saturday 25 August: Seawatching at the Bridges of Ross, Loop Head peninsula, starting at 9.00am.
Note: The Clare Branch of BirdWatch Ireland is looking for reports of Yellowhammers anywhere in the county, but especially in the Burren. Numbers of breeding pairs have fallen considerably in recent years; their remaining stronghold is in the north and east of the Burren.
