Wednesday 20 February: 25 Years of the Irish Wetland Bird Survey, by Brian Burke and Niamh Fitzgerald (BirdWatch Ireland). Botanic Gardens Auditorium, 7.45pm (car park open 7.30pm).


Saturday 23 February: Outing to Gyles Quay and Louth coast. Meet at Botanic Gardens at 8.30am or Dundalk Docks pier, 10.15am. Call Dermot if you need a lift.


Thursday 21 March: Bird Migration: A mystery solved? by ornithologist and author Anthony McGeehan, who will be signing copies of his latest book, To the Ends of the Earth. Botanic Gardens Auditorium, 7.45pm (car park open 7.30pm).


Saturday 23 March: Car outing to Sligo to see Barnacle Geese. Meet at Botanic Gardens at 7.30am. Call Dermot if you need a lift.


Wednesday 24 April: The Terns of Rockabill: a warden's perspective, by Brian Burke (BirdWatch Ireland). Botanic Gardens Auditorium, 7.45pm (car park open 7.30pm).


Saturday 27 April: Car Outing to Slieve Beagh in Monaghan to look for harriers and Red Grouse. Meet at Botanic Gardens at 8.00am. Call Dermot if you need a lift.
